(Filmed on 2&3 August 2026) Ceuta, a Spanish territory located on the North African coast, has become the epicenter of one of the most intense border crises in modern European history. Following recent mass border crossings, thousands of migrants entered the enclave, overwhelming local infrastructure and prompting major international news coverage.
While mainstream reports claim the majority of people have been returned across the border, what is the actual situation on the ground right now? I traveled to Ceuta to see the reality with my own eyes and document what is happening away from the official press releases.
In this video, I walk directly to the beaches and border zones to speak with the people who made the journey. Why did they decide to cross, where are they planning to go next, and how was this massive event coordinated? From makeshift camps on the coast to the heavy security presence, this is an unfiltered, ground-level investigation into the frontlines of Europe's border debate.
